We have spent the last two days screening and applying fluoride for the children in the schools of San Pancho.  It has been amazing to watch them listen intently to the education piece as well as demonstrate proper toothbrushing technique as a class.  The amount of candy these kids consume breaks our hearts as it is evident in their mouths as more decay than we are used to seeing.  I'm glad we are here providing education and fluoride as the decay rate compared to previous years has decreased, suggesting that our program is making a difference!
