Escuela Del Mundo Day

A short walk to the school meant walking on the bridge over the dry river bed and along the main highway. It was early enough in the morning that it was still comfortable. If we waited another hour, the hot sun would have slowed us down considerably. We are becoming more in sync with the rhythm of this small village, taking cues from the locals. The ideal time to work are very early in the morning and after 6pm.  Siesta time in the middle of the day is a must to remain functional. There are days when the weather does not allow us to do anything else, but lay down under a fan and close our eyes for a nap. Yesterday, was one of those days.

Halfway to our destination, a quick stop to shake off the ants from our bags.

The short trek over the dry river bed.

Approximately 1 hour south is Puerto Vallarta.  This is around 8:30 in the morning.

Couldn't resist the proverbial photo op of San Francisco Hiway sign.

In a few more minutes, we'll reach our destination.
